Using similar techniques as with Nano Silk they extruded thin Polyester strands which were then slightly twisted and had a light amount of wax added to them. The amount of wax added has been specifically applied after consultations with top Professional Fly Tyers.
- Flatter than other threads giving more grip to prevent materials slippage.
- With a light wax coating to provide grip but not enough to clog a bobbin holder.
- Strength has always been a base line consideration at Semperfli so the 8/0 is 40% stronger than comparable threads.
- 240 yards per spool making it highly cost-effective.
